An amazing experience eating here! Not only was the service from the waiters unbeatable, but the quality of the food was fantastic. To top it all off, it's located in a beautiful, quiet square. It's a real MUST when we return to Seville, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Amazing food. Amazing location. Friendly. Away from the hustle and bustle that is most bars in Seville. You have to dine here.

Enjoying a montaito at Salpicón goes beyond a simple stop: it's connecting with culinary tradition from a fresh, contemporary perspective, pausing amid the cobblestone streets and the aroma of orange trees to savor the city's most authentic cuisine.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After a string of underwhelming meals in Seville, we randomly found Salpicón while exploring the winding streets — and what a great find it was! I believe they were in their soft opening when we visited, but the experience was still the best of our entire trip. We had the chef pick and create dishes for us, and every one was delicious — flavorful, creative, and such a welcome change from the bland food we had elsewhere in Seville. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Hands down the most flavorful and enjoyable food we had in the city. Dessert: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They served us a complimentary cheesecake that was very light and pleasant, though a little on the simple side. Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A charming, cozy spot. The only downside was the smell of fried oil in the air and that it was a bit warm inside — likely just soft-opening kinks they’ll smooth out. Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic service — personal, warm, and genuine. Our server, possibly the chef’s brother, made us feel like guests in their home. The complimentary cheesecake and sherry were lovely touches. Wine/Coffee: ⭐⭐⭐½ Wine selection was limited, and they didn’t have coffee, but they made up for it with hospitality. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Realistically, this is a 4-star experience with room to grow. But when compared to our other meals in Seville, it felt like a 10. Absolutely worth a visit.

I loved the place!! The location is very pleasant and pretty, and the terrace on Plaza de Doña Elvira is amazing!! The food is spectacular!! We tried the Iberian ham tartar, tremendous. And two "Montaditos" (perhaps the name doesn't do it justice; they're hearty, the bread is a bun) that were incredible, nothing like what you find in other places. You can see how they prepare each order freshly, no reheating required. Special mention to the fact that they have a gluten-free option for the montaditos, served with a corn bun from a bakery in Utrera that's just as good as "normal" bread. The dessert was a tiramisu that left you wanting more!! The people who run the place make you feel at home; they're very friendly and provide recommendations and answer any questions you may have. In short, I couldn't recommend this place enough. Finally, a restaurant in the Santa Cruz neighborhood where a Sevillian doesn't feel like a foreigner.
